MyEverLife helps you preserve your voice, memories, and wishes, and leave messages for the people you love across time. Because that means trusting us with deeply personal things, we try to be plain and honest about what we collect, why, and the control you have. This policy explains how MyEverLife Inc. ("MyEverLife," "we," "us") handles your information in the MyEverLife app and at myeverlife.com (the "Service").
MyEverLife is intended for adults (18 and older). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

| Your answers & profile | The answers you write to questions, your chosen "legacy path," and related profile details that build your EverMe. |
| Messages ("EverMessages") | Written, audio, or video messages you create, their recipients' names and email addresses, and the occasion/date you schedule them for. |
| People you add | Names, relationships, and email addresses of recipients, executors, and family members you choose to add or invite. |

| Vault files | Photos and documents you add to your private Vault, plus metadata you enter (category, notes, where an original is kept, an advisor's contact). |

We use your information to: create and secure your account; build and power your EverMe; store and deliver your messages at the times you choose; send invitations you initiate; enable optional features like voice and social import; provide the Vault; process subscriptions; respond to support requests; keep the Service secure; and meet legal obligations. We do not use your personal content to train our own general AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.
We share limited data with trusted providers only to operate the Service:
| Provider | Purpose | What it may process |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage | Account data, your content, and files |
| Resend | Sending email (invitations, delivered messages) | Recipient email, name, message content |
| Anthropic | Generating EverMe conversational replies | Your answers/relevant content at the time of a chat |
| ElevenLabs | Voice cloning and text-to-speech (only if you enable voice) | Your voice recordings and text to be spoken |
| Apple, RevenueCat & Stripe | Processing and managing subscriptions and advisor-assisted memberships | Purchase/subscription status and billing contact details (not your full card details) |
| BigDataCloud | Turning a photo's coordinates into a place name for photo prompts | Latitude/longitude only (no identity) |
Each provider is bound to use the data only to provide its service to us. We may update this list as the Service evolves.
Voice is optional and off until you turn it on. A voice recording and the voice model created from it may be considered biometric information under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and Canadian privacy law, and we treat it that way for every user regardless of where you live:
If you use social import, the export file you download from a platform is opened and parsed on your device — the raw archive is never uploaded to us. We keep only short snippets of text you yourself authored (your posts and captions), used solely to help your EverMe reflect how you write. We deliberately exclude messages, other people's comments, and other people's data. You can delete all imported content at any time from within the app.
Files you add to the Vault are stored in private storage that only your account can access, retrieved through short-lived, access-controlled links. MyEverLife is not a legal custodian or a substitute for safe-keeping of original legal documents; always retain the real originals. You can delete Vault items at any time.
A core feature lets you schedule messages to be delivered on future dates or occasions. To do this we must retain the message and recipient details until delivery. Cancelling a paid subscription does not cancel a message that was already sealed. You can cancel a scheduled message before it is sent; deleting the account also cancels undelivered messages.
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security so users can only reach their own data, and private storage for Vault files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
We keep your information while your account is active—including after a paid subscription is cancelled—and as needed to provide the purposes you requested, such as preserving the account and delivering sealed messages, or to meet legal obligations. Cancellation moves the account to our protected free level; it is not a request to erase personal information.
You can delete individual items (answers, messages, voice, imported content, Vault files) in the app, and you can delete your entire account in the app or contact us for help. An account-deletion request removes or de-identifies associated data except where we must retain limited records by law. We maintain internal retention and deletion procedures, review inactive accounts, and do not retain identifiable information after it is no longer reasonably required for a disclosed legal or business purpose.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell your personal information, we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to serve you ads. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may authorize someone to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, including Quebec's Law 25. You may access and correct your personal information, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual limits), and request a copy of the information you provided in a structured, commonly used format (data portability). We name our service providers in Section 4 and note that some processing occurs outside Canada (Section 12). If you have a concern we haven't resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or — if you are in Quebec — the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
If you are a U.S. resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access or delete it, to correct it, and (in states that provide it) to limit the use of sensitive personal information and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." Because we do not sell or share personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still exercise your access, deletion, and correction rights. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of other states (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others with comprehensive privacy laws) have comparable rights. Voice/biometric data is treated as sensitive information and handled as described in Section 5.
We and our providers may process and store information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
